This is the bones of my warhorse-- a huge dappled gray creature, so big that I need a mounting block to get on his back, who barely feels my weight, but is sweet and well trained enough to listen to a light rein. Named Canus Major (my little bilingual joke, between the Latinate medieval warhorse and the plains indian "big dog")
